The Greatest Gift Is You!

We are so grateful you're making the trip to Colorado to celebrate with us. We know it’s a lot (the PTO, the travel, the hangover), but truly, just having you there is the best gift we could ask for and we do not take it lightly.

We’re lucky to have everything we need (even if it’s from IKEA), and honestly, we don’t have room for more stuff. But if you’d like to give a gift, we’ve picked two that mean a lot to us: a honeymoon fund and a future fund to help us build the life we’re dreaming of. Click below to contribute.

FAQ

The Story of Us

We met on a dating app, like so many pandemic-era couples. It was Andrew’s first-ever internet date (bless him) and Devon’s… not. After a short exchange, Devon asked him out. We grabbed drinks at a cocktail bar in RiNo, which turned into a second bar, then a third. The conversation was easy, the connection was clear, and we left that night wondering what we’d just stumbled into. Or at least Andrew did...

We started dating during lockdown, which meant a lot of time together, just the two of us. We cooked elaborate meals (of which we haven't seen the likes of since), tried drawing each other (with… mixed results), watched way too much TV, and fostered a couple dozen kittens (shoutout to Monica)

When things opened up, we packed our free Southwest bags (the two each era RIP) and started moving. First to San Francisco, then a few weeks in San Luis Obispo, to Denver, back to SF again, and eventually to New York. Somewhere in there was a U-Haul, a greenhouse in the back that Andrew lovingly misted at every stop, and a running tally of the best pit stops and footlong Subway orders across state lines.

What could’ve felt chaotic or stressful somehow felt easy—fun, even. We realized that being adventurous together didn’t have to be a short chapter. It could be the whole story. Once that clicked we were both all in.
